Purpose |
The Display Transfers screen is used to view pending or complete outbound, inbound and historic inventory transfers. From this screen, a user can choose to create or edit an outbound transfer, or accept an inbound transfer.

Viewing Transfers
There are three pick lists that allow the user to select which transfers to display.
Site List - allows the user to select to display transfers for a specific site or all sites within their organization.
Display Transfer Type- allows the user to select to display inbound, outbound or all tranfers.
Show historic transfer(s) from the last XX days - allows the user to select to display transfers entered in a specific time period.'
The Transfer Listing
This section displays inventory transfers made within your organization or between your organization and another organization. Transfers are listed in either the Outbound Transfer section, the Inbound Transfer section or the Historic Transfer section. Below is an explanation for each type of transfer:
Outbound Transfer - Outbound transfers are outgoing transfers of inventory being sent either to another site in your organization or to a different organization.
Inbound Transfer - Inbound transfers are incoming transfers of inventory sent either by another site in your organization or from a different organization.
Historic Transfer - Historic transfers are transfers of inventory which have completed all transfer steps. For example, a transfer shipped to your organization has been accepted.
Field Descriptions within Transfer List
This section explains the descriptions for all of the fields contained within the 'Transfer List' table.

Description |
Transfer ID |
This field displays the identification number used to track the transfer in GRITS. The same identification number is displayed for the sending and receiving site. Clicking on this link will take you to various status screens for a transfer depending on a number of different variables.

Transfer Type |
This field displays the type of inventory transfer that took place. One of three types will display: outbound, inbound or internal. Internal is displayed for a transfer between sites within the same organization if the user has selected to display "All Transfers" from the site pick list. |
Transfer Status |
This field displays the status of the inventory. There are four status codes:

Sending Organization: Site PIN - Name |
This field displays the organization name, site PIN (provider identification number used by the state for shipping VFC vaccine) and site name of the provider sending the vaccine. |
Receiving Organization:
Site PIN - Name |
This field displays the organization name, site PIN (provider identification number used by the state for shipping VFC vaccine) and site name of the provider receiving the vaccine. |
Ship Date |
This field displays the date that the transfer was originally shipped. This date is set by the sending organization through the Create/Edit Transfer screen. |
Last Edited Date |
This field displays the date that the transfer was modified. This date is set by the sending organization through the Create/Edit Transfer screen. This date is not displayed on completed transfers. |
Receipt Date |
This field displays the date that the receiving organization accepted the transfer. This date is set by the receiving organization once they have accepted the transfer through the Display Transfer Details screen. This date is only displayed on completed transfers |
Functionality |
The functionality on the Display Transfers screen involves either creating a new transfer or modifying/viewing an existing transfer.

When you click on the New Transfer button you will be taken to the Create/Edit Transfer screen. Here you can enter information for a new inventory transfer. |

When you click on the Shipping Documents button you will be taken to the Shipping Documents screen. All outbound transfers shipped on or after the shipped date will be displayed. |

When you click on the Cancel button you will be taken to the previous screen you were at. Any changes you made will not be saved. |
